Sarasău

Script error: No such module "For". Template:Infobox Romanian subdivision Sarasău (Template:Langx) is a commune in Maramureș County, Maramureș, Romania. It is composed of a single village, Sarasău.

The commune lies on the left bank of the river Tisza, on the border with Ukraine, across from Solotvyno; the river Sarasău flows into the Tisza in the village. Sarasău is located in the northern part of the county, Template:Cvt northwest of Sighetu Marmației and Template:Cvt north of the county seat, Baia Mare. It is traversed by national road Template:Ill, which runs from Oradea to Sighetu Marmației.

At the 2021 census, the commune had a population of 2,433, of which 89.15% were Romanians and 2.22% Roma.[1]
