Dean of St Paul's

The dean of St Paul's is dean (head) of the chapter of St Paul's Cathedral, the cathedral church of the diocese of London in the Church of England. Since 1957, the dean of St Paul's is also ex officio the Dean of the Order of the British Empire.
The current dean is Andrew Tremlett, who was installed on 25 September 2022.
Deanery
From 1673 until 1977, the dean lived in the Deanery House, a townhouse on Dean's Court beside the cathedral, which is now called the <templatestyles src="Template:Visible anchor/styles.css" />Old Deanery and owned by the diocese of London. It was let as offices until 1992, but since 1996 has been used by the diocese and includes a residence for the bishop of London.[1]
