Comité Colbert

Template:Short description Comité Colbert is a French association "to promote the concept of luxury."[1] It was founded in 1954 by Jean-Jacques Guerlain, son of French perfumer Jacques Guerlain.[1] The association has more than 100 members, most of which are French companies in the luxury goods industry.

Métiers or trade sectors

The association is divided into thirteen métiers or trade sectors.[1] The sectors are:

  • Automobile
  • Crystal
  • Decoration
  • Faience and Porcelain
  • Fragrance and Cosmetic
  • Gastronomie
  • Gold and Precious Materials
  • Haute Couture / Fashion
  • Hospitality
  • Leather Goods
  • Publishing
  • Silver and Bronze
  • Wine and Spirits

The association adopted its first automobile brand (Bugatti) in July 2015.[2]
