The 25th British Academy Film Awards, given by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in 1972, honoured the best films of 1971. Sunday Bloody Sunday won Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Film and Best Editor. The Go-Between won Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress and Best Screenplay, plus Most Promising Newcomer for Dominic Guard.[1]
