Z with hook, Ȥ (minuscule: ȥ) is a letter of the Latin script. Template:SpecialCharsThe Unicode standard notes "Middle High German" for the application of the grapheme, intended to represent the coronal fricative Template:IPAslink also transcribed as tailed z Template:Angle bracket. The Template:Angle bracket-character is used in modern printings of Medieval German literature to indicate those cases of Template:Angle bracket pronounced as Script error: No such module "IPA". (in such a case, modern German now uses Template:Angle bracket). In contrast, the Template:Angle bracket-character is pronounced as Template:IPAslink, as is still the case in modern German.[1] And the Template:Angle bracket-character is pronounced as Template:IPAslink.

This letter's Unicode codepoints are U+0224 and U+0225, for uppercase and lowercase respectively.
