Xanthisma, common name sleepy-daisy,[1] is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae.[2][3][4][5][6][7][1]
The generic name comes from the Greek "xanthos," "yellow", and "-ismos," "condition."[1] It was first described in 1836 from material collected in "The Mexican Province of Texas."[2]
