Washtenaw Technical Middle College (WTMC) is a Michigan Public School Academy chartered by and located on the campus of Washtenaw Community College (WCC) near Ann Arbor, Michigan. The school allows students to obtain an associate's degree or Technical Certificate from Washtenaw Community College while earning their high school diploma.[1]
The mission of WTMC is "to transform high school students into successful college students by providing meaningful educational choices, individualized advising, and skill-based instruction."[2]

Drop in Graduation Rate
In 2016 the Dean, Karl Covert, reported a graduation rate of 96%.[5] By 2023 that rate had dropped to only 47%.[6] This coincides with the drop in overall rating with WTMC ranking as the 7th best High School in the United States in 2014[7] and in 2024 WTMC ranked as the 8,400 best High School.[6]
