Uvariopsis vanderystii is a species of plant in the Annonaceae family.[1] It is found in Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Gabon.[2] Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.[2] It is threatened by habitat loss.[2]

Description

U. vanderystii is a monoecious shrub,[3] with strictly cauliflorous inflorescences.[1] Its petals are joined at the base, with flowers having distinct pedicels.[1]

Taxonomy

U. vanderystii was first described by Robyns & Ghesq. in 1933.[4][5]
