Ubbena is a hamlet in the Netherlands, and is part of the Assen municipality in Drenthe.
Ubbena is a statistical entity,[1] and has its own postal code,[2] however it is considered part of Zeijen.[3] It was first mentioned in 1660, and means "the descendants of Ubbo".[4] The Ubbena estate dated from the mid-17th century, and later became an inn along the main road.[5]
