Toyota P engine
Template:Infobox automobile engine The Toyota P engine family is an overhead valve inline-four engine produced from October 1959 through 1994. Originally fitted to the Corona passenger car, it was soon relegated to commercial use vehicles and for its latter two decades it mostly powered various forklifts.

The Template:Convert P was produced from 1959 through 1961. Bore and stroke are Template:Convert.

The Template:Convert 2P was produced from 1961 through 1972. This was bored out to Template:Convert, while retaining the short Template:Convert stroke. Power is Template:Convert at 5,000 rpm, while torque is Template:Convert at 2,800 rpm.[2]

The Template:Convert 3P was produced from 1967 through 1979. Bore and stroke is Template:Convert. Power is usually Template:Convert at 5,000 rpm, with torque of Template:Convert at 3,000 rpm.[5][6]

The Template:Convert 4P (retaining the Template:Convert bore but with a longer Template:Convert stroke) mostly saw use in off-road equipment such as forklifts and loaders, where it was used until at least 1994 for the Toyota 5FGL. It produces Template:Convert at 2400 rpm as fitted to the Toyota 2SGK6 loader (1993).[10] In the 1972 2FG20 2-ton forklift it has Template:Convert at 2800 rpm.[11]
