Telma Alexandra Pinto Monteiro ComM (born 27 December 1985) is a Portuguese retired[1] judoka who has won multiple medals in international competitions, such as the European and World Championships.[2] She is a two-time winner of the Paris Grand Slam, in 2012 and 2015.[3]
At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Monteiro won an Olympic medal after taking the bronze in the [[Judo at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's 57 kg|women's Template:Nbnd57 kg event]].[4] She also competed in the women's 57 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan, where she finished 9th place.[5]
Born in Lisbon, Monteiro represented Construções Norte/Sul until 2007, when she joined S.L. Benfica.
