Syzygium beddomei is a species of plant in the family Myrtaceae.[1][2] It is endemic to Tamil Nadu in India. As there was no report of occurrence over hundred years, it was rediscovered from Kanyakumari Forest division, Kanyakumari district, Agasthyamalai Biosphere Reserve, Tamil Nadu, India[3]
