Sozak (Template:Langx, Script error: No such module "Lang".) is a district of Turkistan Region in southern Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the district is the selo of Sholakkorgan.[1] Population: Template:Kz-population2013 Template:Kz-census2009 Template:Kz-census1999 It contains the titular village of Sozak.

Geography

The Ashchykol Depression is located in the district.[2] The archaeological remains of the ancient Kumkent fortification are located to the southwest of Kumkent village, near lake Kyzylkol.[3]
