Sideroxylon cubense is a species of plant in the family Sapotaceae.[1] It is native to Cuba, Hispaniola (the Dominican Republic and Haiti), the Leeward Islands, and Puerto Rico.[2]
Taxonomy
Sideroxylon confertum was assessed as "vulnerable" in the 1998 IUCN Red List, where it was considered endemic to Cuba,[3] but as of January 2023[update]Script error: No such module "Check for unknown parameters". was treated as a junior synonym within the more widely distributed S. cubense.[2]
