Shir Berenj (Template:Langx; also transliterated as sheer berenj or sheer berinj) is a rice pudding flavored with rose water, spices such as cinnamon or cardamom, and often containing almonds.[1][2][3] It may be served warm or chilled as a dessert.[1] The dessert originates from Afghanistan, and is popular among Afghans.[1]
