Sayansk (Template:Lang-rus) is a town in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Oka River (Angara River's basin) Script error: No such module "convert". northwest of Irkutsk. Population: Template:Ru-census2010 Template:Replace (2002 Census);[1] Template:Replace (1989 Soviet census).[2]

History

Administrative and municipal status

Within the framework of administrative divisions, it is incorporated as the Town of Sayansk[3]—an administrative unit with the status equal to that of the districts.Script error: No such module "Unsubst". As a municipal division, the Town of Sayansk is incorporated as Sayansk Urban Okrug.[4]
