The mainly instrumental album debuted on No. 4 in the Dutch album chart and was certified Gold.[1] The album peaked at No. 22 on the US Billboard 200,[2] No. 27 in the UK Albums Chart[3] and sold in excess of one million copies worldwide.[4] It was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Album.[5] The album was promoted by a tour in Europe and the United States.[6]
