Template:Infobox given name Rayan (Template:Langx), also spelt Rayyan, Rayyaan, Rayaan, or Raian, is generally a given name of Arabic origin, both male and female,[1] meaning "luxuriant," "well-watered" or "satiated" in Arabic.[2][3]

In Arabic and Islamic tradition, it is the name of one of the gates of Jannah, Al-Rayyan, through which only those who fast a lot would enter on the Day of Resurrection.[4][5][6]
