Psittacotherium ("parrot beast")[1] is an extinct genus of taeniodonts from extinct tribe Psittacotheriini within subfamily Stylinodontinae and family Stylinodontidae, that lived in North America from early to late Paleocene.[2][3][4][5][6] With a weight between Template:Cvt and Template:Cvt,[2] and length of Template:Cvt,[2] it had similar size of a large dog.[7]
