Template:Short description Template:Infobox award The 18th Lo Nuestro Awards was held on February 23, 2006[1] at the American Airlines Arena in Miami.[2] The nominees were announced on December 12, 2005,[2] during a press conference televised live on the Univision Network morning show ¡Despierta América!.[3] The show was co-hosted by René Strickler and Patricia Manterola.[4]
