The district serves the residents of Palmyra Borough, North Londonderry Township, South Londonderry Township, Campbelltown, Lawn, and Mount Gretna. By 2010, the District's population increased to 22,399 people.[1] In 2009, the Palmyra Area School District residents’ per capita income was $24,082, while the median family income was $58,016.[2] In the Commonwealth, the median family income was $49,501[3] and the United States median family income was $49,445, in 2010.[4]
