The commune includes four villages:[1]
- Oltina (historical name: Goltina, Template:LangxScript error: No such module "Unsubst".), named after the Roman settlement Altinum, whose vestiges were found in the vicinity of the village[2]
- Răzoarele (historical name: Curuorman, Template:Langx)[3][4]
- Satu Nou (historical name: Ienichioi, Template:Langx)[2]
- Strunga (historical name: Câșla, Template:Langx)

Demographics
At the 2011 census, 96.3% of the population of Oltina had Romanian ethnicity.[5]
