Template:Short description The Norwegian Medical Association (Template:Langx (1886–2008), spelled Den norske legeforening since 2008) is the main Norwegian medical association and trade union, and was founded in 1886. It has 42 497 members (as of 2025) or about 93,2 % of all Norwegian doctors. Anne Karin Rime became president in 2021. It is affiliated with the Federation of Norwegian Professional Associations. The association publishes the Journal of the Norwegian Medical Association, established in 1881.[1]
