Mushrif Park

Mushrif Park (Template:Langx, aka Mushrif National Park[1]) is a family-oriented park in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.[2] It is located in the eastern part of the city (near the suburb of Al Khawaneej), about 16 km (10 mi) from the traditional center of Dubai. The park was created in 1982 by Dubai Municipality[3] and was widely expanded and refurbished in 1989. Facilities include a swimming pool, a bicycle track, electronic games, football fields, theater screenings, excursion and barbeque services.
The park has 13 models of traditional houses in styles from around the world, forming a small "International Village".[3][4] There is also an Adventura Parks adventure course in the trees, including a zipline.[2][5] There is a botanical garden where bird watching is possible.[6] The Dubai Crocodile Park zoo is located in the south of the park.[7] There is also a 10-km hiking trail.[8]
The entry fee to Mushrif Park is 10 dirhams per car.[2] The park is open daily from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.[9]
To the north is Al Mizhar 2, to the east is Al Khawaneej, to the south is Al Warqa 4, and to the west is Mirdif. The park is located near Dubai International Airport, which has promoted the hobby of aircraft spotting in the region.Script error: No such module "Unsubst". Recent Developments
Mushrif Hub
In May 2025, Dubai Municipality inaugurated the Mushrif Hub, a new sports‑and‑recreation initiative within Mushrif National Park. The Hub includes a 50 km mountain biking network, segmented into green (beginner), blue (intermediate), and red (advanced) trails, plus a 9.7 km walking trail with multi‑level paths for various fitness levels. New visitor amenities include cafés, restaurants, a skills area, changing rooms, showers, and a chapel. The park’s lighting has been upgraded to support evening use and special events such as running races and bike competitions.
Extended Hours During Eid al‑Adha 2025
During the Eid al‑Adha holiday (June 5–8, 2025), Mushrif Park extended its operating hours to 08:00–23:00, with mountain biking and walking trails accessible from 05:00 to 18:00 daily to encourage family-friendly evening activities during the festive period.
Visitor Figures & Strategic Importance
By 2024, the park welcomed approximately 874,000 visitors, underscoring its role as a major urban green space. The Mushrif Hub initiative also supports broader municipal plans such as Dubai Urban Plan 2040 and the Quality of Life Strategy 2033, reflecting a push toward high-quality, community-oriented public spaces.
