Maurits August Verdonck (21 April 1879[1] – 1 March 1968),[2] often incorrectly referred to as Maurice, was a Belgian rower who competed in the 1900 Summer Olympics.[3] He was part of the Belgian boat Royal Club Nautique de Gand, which won the silver medal in the men's eight.[4]

Verdonck was also a writer. His work was part of the literature event in the art competition at the 1928 Summer Olympics.[5]
