Leptoxis torrefacta, or the squat rocksnail, is a species of freshwater snail in the family Pleuroceridae. This species was endemic to Alabama, the United States,[1][2] with records from the Coosa River.[3][4] It is now extinct,[1][4] presumably as a consequence of the impoundment of the Coosa River mainstem.[4]

The shell measures Template:Cvt in length and Template:Cvt in width.[3]
