Lavoûte-Chilhac (Script error: No such module "IPA".; Template:Langx) is a commune in the Haute-Loire department in south-central France. It is a member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France (The Most Beautiful Villages of France) Association.
Geography
The village is located at an altitude of over 400 meters.[2]
In the gorges of the Allier, the village of Lavoûte-Chilhac is about halfway between Langeac and Vieille-Brioude (end of the gorges of the Allier which then joins the Limagne de Brioude).
