The Latin Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Pop Album is an honor presented at the Latin Grammy Awards, a ceremony that was established in 2000, to recognize excellence and creates a wider awareness of cultural diversity and contributions of Latin music recording artists in the United States and worldwide.[1] The award is given to performers, producers for albums containing at least 51% of new recordings of the pop genre.[2]

The honor was first presented in 2000 at the 1st Annual Latin Grammy Awards as Best Pop Vocal Album to Luis Miguel for Amarte Es un Placer. The category was discontinued between the 2001 and 2011 ceremonies and replaced by gender-specific awards: Best Female and Best Male Pop Vocal Album. In 2012, those categories were retired, and the pop album category was reinstated as Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album, a title it held until the 2019 ceremony. In 2020, the award was renamed once again to Best Pop Vocal Album. For the 2025 ceremony, the Latin Recording Academy announced that the category would be renamed Best Contemporary Pop Album.[3]
