Kovrovsky District

Script error: No such module "Unsubst". Kovrovsky District (Template:Langx) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the sixteen in Vladimir Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is Script error: No such module "convert"..[3] Its administrative center is the city of Kovrov[4] (which is not administratively a part of the district).[5] Population: Template:Ru-census2021 Template:Ru-census2010 31,148 (2002 Census);[6] Template:Replace (1989 Soviet census).[7]

Administrative and municipal status

Within the framework of administrative divisions, Kovrovsky District is one of the sixteen in the oblast.[1] The city of Kovrov serves as its administrative center,[4] despite being incorporated separately[5] as an administrative unit with the status equal to that of the districts.[1]

As a municipal division, the district is incorporated as Kovrovsky Municipal District.[2] The City of Kovrov is incorporated separately from the district as Kovrov Urban Okrug.[8]
