Kinchafoonee Creek

Template:Short description Template:Use American English Kinchafoonee Creek (Template:IPAc-en Script error: No such module "Respell".) is a creek in southwest Georgia.[1] It originates near Buena Vista and flows southeasterly for Script error: No such module "convert".[2] to the Flint River near Albany, Georgia.[1]

Its name comes from the Creek word for "mortar nutshells", which refers to a type of nutcracker.[3]

The creek flows through Chattahoochee, Marion, Dougherty, Lee, Terrell, and Webster (formerly Kinchafoonee) counties.
