Demographics
At one time, Jhirkuni used to have more than 300 families in the village; however, its jurisdiction used to cover the outlying hamlets and farms of Taandi, Taak, Kabarkot, Ovani, Nadera, Bhatwad, Suri, and Gaad. As of the 2011 census, Jhir Kuni has a population of 103, in 31 families, which 48 are males while 55 are females. Literacy is about 77 %. [1]
