Indira Sant (4 January 1914 – 13 July 2000) was a Marathi poet from Maharashtra, India.

She was a versatile writer, poet and storyteller. To this day, she is well-known for her detail-orientated poetry. The immense love she had for nature helped her artfully portray ideas of love, separation, loneliness, and deep emotions shrouded in vivid imagery and words that capture one’s feelings to the fullest.[1]

Life

Indira studied at Rajaram College[2] in Kolhapur.
