The name Indian lettuce has been used to refer to a number of plants used as leaf vegetables used by Native American or Indian people, including but likely not limited to:

• Lactuca indica
• Claytonia perfoliata
• Claytonia sibirica (candy flower)
• Chenopodium californicum
