Ilva Mică

Template:Infobox Romanian subdivision Ilva Mică (Template:Langx) is a commune in Bistrița-Năsăud County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of a single village, Ilva Mică.

The commune is situated in the western foothills of the Bârgău Mountains, at an altitude of Template:Cvt, on the banks of the river Someșul Mare and its left tributary, the Ilva. It is located in the central part of Bistrița-Năsăud County, Template:Cvt east of Năsăud and Template:Cvt northeast of the county seat, Bistrița.

Ilva Mică is crossed by the national road Template:Ill, which starts in Beclean, Template:Cvt to the southwest, crosses the Carpathian Mountains through the Template:Ill, and ends in Fluturica, Suceava County, Template:Cvt to the northeast. The Ilva Mică train station is the terminus of two Căile Ferate Române railways: Line 401, which starts in Cluj-Napoca, Template:Cvt to the southwest, and the mountain railway Line 502, which starts in Suceava, Template:Cvt to the east.
