In Greek mythology, Idyia (Template:Langx) or Eidyia (Template:Langx; Template:IPAc-en) was a daughter of the Titans Oceanus and Tethys,[1] and queen to Aeëtes, king of Colchis.[2] She was the mother of Medea, Chalciope and Absyrtus.[3][4] According to Apollonius of Rhodes, she was the youngest of the Oceanides.[5] Her name means "the fair-faced"[6] or "the knowing one"[7] derived from the Greek word Script error: No such module "Lang". (Script error: No such module "Lang".) meaning "to see" or "to know".
