Hydrops triangularis, commonly known as the water false coral snake,[1] triangle water snake, triangle watersnake,[2] or water coral,[3] is a species of snake endemic to northern South America and the Amazon Basin.[4][2]
Geographic range
Hydrops triangularis is found in Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Colombia, Brazil, eastern Ecuador, eastern Peru, and northern Bolivia.[2]

Hydrops triangularis feeds on eels (especially synbranchids)[1] and other freshwater fish[3] (especially elongated species).[1]
