He played 30 games in the National Hockey League for the New York Rangers and Montreal Canadiens from 1942 to 1947. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1941 to 1957, was spent in the minor leagues.. He was born in Big River, Saskatchewan, but grew up in The Pas, Manitoba.
