The Huangpu Bridge carries expressway traffic over two branches of the Pearl River in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. The bridge is a combined suspension and cable-stayed bridge. The suspension bridge portion crosses the south western channel and has a main span of Script error: No such module "convert"..[1] As of 2012Script error: No such module "Check for unknown parameters". the suspension bridge span is one of the ten longest in China and among the 20 longest in the world. The total length of the bridge is Script error: No such module "convert".. Construction of the bridge began in December 2003 and it was opened for traffic in December 2008. The bridge carries traffic on the G0425 Guangzhou–Macau Expressway and the G1508 Guangzhou Ring Expressway.
