Location and features

The falls are located on the northern boundary of the Girringun National Park, west of Template:QLDcity, in the Cassowary Coast local government area, approximately Script error: No such module "convert". northwest of the river's mouth at Template:QLDcity.[1] The waterfall plunges from the Atherton Tableland at an elevation of Script error: No such module "convert".[2] and falls between Script error: No such module "convert".[2] into the Herbert River Gorge below.

The "tribal council" set for the second season of the American reality television show Survivor was built atop the falls in 2000 and featured on each episode.
