Template:Music ratings First Round Knock Out is the second compilation album by American rapper and record producer Dr. Dre. It was released on May 21, 1996 via Triple X Records. Billed as "a retrospective of early tracks produced by Dr. Dre", the album contains 15 tracks featuring or produced by Dre, including a version of "Deep Cover", unreleased the D.O.C.'s "Bridgette" and Rose Royce's "It's Not Over", material by Michel'le, Jimmy Z, Kokane, Po' Broke & Lonely, and numbers during his World Class Wreckin' Cru time.

The album peaked at number 52 on the Billboard 200 and number 18 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts in the United States.

In 1996, Dr. Dre and Interscope Records sued Triple X Records and Missing Link Entertainment for unlawfully appropriating Dr. Dre's name and likeness by manufacturing, disturbing, selling and advertising the album, which is "likely to cause confusion or mistake or deceive the consuming public as to the origin and content of the production".[1] The compilation, alongside Concrete Roots and Back 'N the Day, is unrecognized as part of the official Dr. Dre discography.
