Euthenia (Template:Langx) was a goddess and personification of abundance, particularly the abundance of wheat associated with the flooding of the Nile.[1] The Ancient Greek common noun euthenia ("prosperity, plenty, abundance")[2] like the Latin annona,[3] was used to refer to the grain-supply, and the divine personification Euthenia, is the Greek equivalent of either of the Roman divine personifications Annona or Abundantia.[4]

Rome

On Roman coins, Euthenia is often compared to Abundantia, the personification of abundance and prosperity,[5] and Annona, the personification of the grain supply to Rome.Script error: No such module "Unsubst".

Egypt

She is also a part of the Egyptian pantheon, though was later assimilated to tales related to Goddess Isis. During Ptolemaic times, she became the consort of Nilus.[5] Her first appearance on Egyptian coins date back to the last decade of BC.[6]
