Ethagala (Template:Langx) (English:Elephant Rock) is one of seven rocks that overlook the town of Kurunegala, in Sri Lanka.[1] The rock face reaches Script error: No such module "convert". over the town and in its shape resembles a crouching elephant, which explains the rock's name.[2][3][4] It houses a temple, the Athugala Viharaya, and an Template:Cvt high seated Buddha statue at its top.[3]
