Elimia lachryma

Template:Short description Template:Use dmy dates Template:Speciesbox Elimia lachryma, the teardrop elimia[1] or nodulose Coosa River snail[2] is a species of freshwater snail with an operculum, an aquatic gastropod mollusc in the family Pleuroceridae.[3][2] The species is endemic to the State of Alabama in the United States.[2]

As of 2000, the species was considered extinct by the IUCN.[1] It was rediscovered in the wild in 2005,[4] but is still considered critically imperiled.[2]
