Elbert Leon Kimbrough (March 24, 1938) is an American former professional football player who played safety for seven seasons for the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, and New Orleans Saints.[1]

Biography

Elbert Kimbrough was born March 24, 1938, in Galesburg, Illinois. He attended Galesburg High School in that city, where, together with his twin brother Albert, he played football[2] and basketball.[3]

Kimbrough's twin brother Albert also played American football.[4] Albert died in May 2024.[5]
