Eirenis barani

Eirenis barani, also known commonly as Baran's dwarf racer,[1] is a species of snake in the family Colubridae. The species is endemic to the Near East.
Etymology
The specific name, barani, is in honor of Turkish herpetologist İbrahim Baran.[2]
Geographic range
E. barani is found in southern Turkey and northwestern Syria.[1]
Habitat
The natural habitats of E. barani are Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation and rocky areas, at altitudes from sea level to Script error: No such module "convert"..[3]
Description
The holotype of E. barani has a snout-to-vent length of Script error: No such module "convert". and a tail length of Script error: No such module "convert".. The dorsal scales are smooth, and are arranged in 17 rows at midbody.[4]
