Damien Emere Covington (December 4, 1972 – November 29, 2002) was an American professional football linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He was a third round selection in the 1995 NFL draft by the Buffalo Bills out of North Carolina State University.[1] He played for the Bills for three seasons (1995–1997). He was killed in an attempted robbery while at a friend's apartment.
Raised in Berlin Township, New Jersey, Covington attended Edgewood Regional High School for his first three years and then transferred to Overbrook High School in Pine Hill, New Jersey.[2][3]
