Cryptoconchus is a genus of chitons in the family Acanthochitonidae.

- Cryptoconchus porosus - the butterfly chiton
- Cryptoconchus floridanus - the white-barred chiton
Extinct species
The genus is also represented in the fossil record, in Pliocene and Pleistocene rocks.[1]
