The Comeau was built in 1926.[1] On September 6, 1996, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It sold in 2006 for $5.1 million, and again in 2015 for $12 million.[2] In 2021, it sold along with three other nearby buildings for $54.2 million.[1]
