Cheng Jiasui

Template:Short description Script error: No such module "Template wrapper".Script error: No such module "Check for clobbered parameters". Cheng Jiasui (Template:Zh) (1565-1643) was a Chinese landscape painter and poet during the Ming dynasty (1368–1644).

Cheng was born in Xiuning in the Anhui province[1] and lived in Jiading.[2] His style name was 'Mengyang' (Script error: No such module "Lang".) and his pseudonyms or art names were 'Songyuan' (Script error: No such module "Lang".) and 'Ji'an' (Script error: No such module "Lang".).[2] Cheng's landscape painting followed the style of Huang Gongwang and Ni Zan in its wild and natural taste. Cheng also wrote a number of poems. Along with Tang Shisheng (Script error: No such module "Lang".), Lou Jian (Script error: No such module "Lang".), and Li Liufang (Script error: No such module "Lang".), he was known as one of the "Four Teachers of Jiading" (Script error: No such module "Lang".).[2]
