History
Bralewnica was mentioned in medieval documents in 1300, 1369 and 1385.[1] It was a royal village of the Polish Crown, administratively located in the Tuchola County in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.[2]
During the German occupation of Poland (World War II), the Germans murdered several Polish inhabitants of Bralewnica on 3 November 1940, and then on November 5 they expelled the families of the victims, while their farms were handed over to Germans as part of the Lebensraum policy.[3]
